Crush/Repeat 2024 - Artist Submission Directions

So you participated in Crush/Repeat 2024 and now you want to submit your beautiful work to the web gallery? That’s great! We can’t wait to showcase you and your art. 🎉

You must submit everything via this Google Form by Tuesday April 30th to be included in the 2024 web gallery. Please follow the directions on this page to prepare your submission to our specifications. Directions on how to write your artist statement are in the form. You are encouraged to submit any amount of work you did this month, so please don’t be shy if you didn’t make work every day. Anything you made this month is perfect and we would love to share it! 💐

The web gallery will go live in early May! Please sign up for our mailing list if you haven’t already to receive updates.🌷

Directions on How to submit your c/r 2024 project for our web gallery:

Image Requirements:

  • Images must be submitted in .png or .jpg format and be no larger than 500KB per image file.

  • Please take all of your photos in one format of orientation (aka: Landscape, Portrait or Square).

  • Name each photo file with your name and number the piece in order of when you made them or how you'd like them to appear. (example: “firstname_lastname_1.jpg”)

  • Cover photo: Please submit a picture of all of your pieces together in one photo as if they were displayed on a gallery wall or surface. If you worked on one larger piece slowly over the course of the month, please show the whole piece as your cover image, and then a few close ups and/or process work images for the rest of your gallery section. You may also make a digital image collage if you’re unable to stage all of your pieces together for one photo. Please name the image file as follows: (example: “firstname_lastname_cover.jpg”). Examples of different kinds of acceptable cover photos below.

  • You may submit up to a total 32 images (one for each of the 31 days of March + your cover image).

  • Follow the directions in the “Art Submission” section of the Google Form on how to upload to our Google Drive.

Video Requirements:

  • If you are submitting video work instead of photos, please compile all of your work into one video and upload an .mp4 file to the Google Form.

  • Please title your .mp4 file as follows: (example: “firstname_lastname.mp4”)

  • If you wish to submit photos and video, please reach out to us via email to discuss.

NOTE:

  • If you're unable to upload via the Google Form, or are having any difficulties with the submission process, please reach out to us via email: crushrepeat@gmail.com in advance of Tuesday April 30th so we may help you.
